Designed in 2023, this residence located in Lancaster, California, combines traditional domestic architecture with a contemporary minimalist roof that extends the living spaces outdoors.
The house is organized around a simple gabled volume, while a light pergola frames the main terrace and creates a continuous transition between the interior and exterior, oriented toward the pool and garden. The project prioritizes natural light, spatial openness, and the creation of shaded areas for outdoor living, using clean geometries and warm materials that balance traditional character with a contemporary expression.
The construction permit was approved by the city, and the project is currently in the construction phase.
